FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The virtual summit will now be held July 14-16, 2020.

SEATTLE, June 2, 2020 — In support of the cannabis dispensaries and companies that were affected by looting this past weekend, Jage Media is delaying our MJ Unpacked – California event, originally scheduled for mid-June. Many dispensaries in the state have been ravaged and some communities remain in chaos. Right now, these business owners, their staff, and their communities need time to heal.

Please stay tuned for updates and information for MJ Unpacked – California, which will now be held July 14-16. We look forward to driving conversations around Social Justice and will lead the conference with a Restorative Justice and Social Equity session. We will provide a safe forum for the community to convene and address today’s challenges, and most importantly, offer ways to give back to those cannabis businesses impacted during these tumultuous times.

Our hearts and support go out to victims of violence, and the peaceful protesters across this nation. As we go forward we stand with the cannabis community in California and look to be an ally and a forum where rebuilding can happen, and critical conversations can be held.
